As a Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted resource for employees, helping them navigate their benefits throughout every stage of employment. From new hire enrollments and qualifying life events to leave administration and employee education, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience.

What You'll Do
- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and other company-sponsored benefit programs.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, eligibility questions, and benefit changes.
- Coordinate and process new hire benefit enrollments and ensure timely completion of required documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual Open Enrollment process, including employee communications, education sessions, enrollment support, system testing, and post-enrollment reconciliation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions while providing outstanding customer service.
- Maintain accurate benefit records within ADP and other HR systems.
- Complete monthly benefit reconciliations and partner with Payroll to ensure benefit deductions are accurate and timely.
- Coordinate with benefit carriers and vendors to resolve eligibility, enrollment, and billing issues.
- Assist with the administration of leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, personal leaves, and other protected leave processes.
- Prepare employee communications, benefit guides, and educational materials.
- Support wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs related to benefits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and FMLA.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and special HR projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in a Benefits Administration or Human Resources role with a strong focus on employee benefits required.
- Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, and executing an annual Open Enrollment process from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits, leave administration, and HR best practices.
- Experience administering medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, COBRA, ACA, and other employer-sponsored benefit programs.
- Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain complex benefit information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
