Position Summary
Moore Services is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman with strong finish carpentry skills and extensive knowledge of residential remodeling. This individual will lead crews on job sites while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can perform the work, teach others, solve problems in the field, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise carpenters and laborers on residential remodeling projects.
- Perform high-quality finish carpentry including trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, baseboards, crown molding, and custom finish work.
- Complete all phases of residential remodeling including framing, drywall repairs, flooring, siding, decks, and general carpentry.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate daily job site activities and communicate progress with the office.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Train and mentor crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Identify and resolve construction issues before they become larger problems.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and subcontractors.
- Verify materials, tools, and equipment are available before work begins.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and company standards.
- Complete punch list items with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of residential remodeling experience.
- Minimum 3 years leading crews or serving as a foreman.
- Advanced finish carpentry skills are required.
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of residential remodeling.
- Ability to frame, install doors and windows, complete trim work, install cabinetry, flooring, and perform general carpentry.
- Ability to read blueprints and layout projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
