The inpatient Unit RN 7pm-7am shift uses the nursing process to develop, coordinate, and manage the plan of care for hospice patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team for an inpatient facility, effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing and clinical competency. The Inpatient Unit RN assumes primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care to hospice patients. The Inpatient Unit RN utilizes teaching, assessment, and intervention skills to provide comfort care and maximize the quality of life for patients and their families. Hospice and/or Home Health experience preferred, one year nursing experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
