We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and organized Childcare Center Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate is a dedicated leader who is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children while supporting families and staff. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the center, ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, manage staff, and promote a culture of excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the childcare facility.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and the community.
- Monitor classroom quality and support curriculum implementation.
- Manage enrollment, staffing schedules, and child records.
- Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and general administrative duties.
- Address parent concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous leadership or management experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of state childcare licensing requirements and regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
