CDL Class A & B Truck Drivers

Qualifications
- Valid New York State CDL Class A or Class B license
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience required
- Experience operating dump trucks, dump trailers, lowboy equipment, or tractor-trailers preferred
- Construction industry hauling experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Clean driving record with no recent moving violations
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Ability to work safely in varying weather, traffic, and job site conditions
- Reliable work ethic and strong commitment to safety

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform local and short-haul driving assignments
- Transport sand, gravel, rock salt, blacktop, and other construction materials
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials
- Review and follow delivery instructions and schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain driver logs, fuel receipts, toll receipts, and required documentation
- Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
- Safely maneuver trucks and trailers on construction sites and in loading/unloading areas
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, and violations promptly
- Work closely with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members
- Maintain professional conduct and clean equipment
