Heimark Distributing is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated CDL Driver to join our Delivery department in the Coachella area. The position requires a commercially licensed truck driver who will be responsible for safely delivering beverage products to retail customer accounts. This position generally works from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The normal days of work are Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
The position is responsible for the following job functions:
- Operate commercial vehicle to transport beverage products to retail customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area, including Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline and surrounding areas
- Ensure safely and timely delivery of our products to retail customers
- Review orders prior to delivery
- Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation
- Invoice and deliver beverage products to our customers
- Loading and Unloading product from their vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customer base
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspection on the truck and trailer for safe operation of vehicle and record issues
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and retailers
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED Equivalent
· Current (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
· Driving mountain routes preferred
· Clean driving record (minimum of 3 years)
· Accountable to follow all laws and regulations
· Flexible with start times and work assignments
· Must have current Class A Commercial driver’s license and DOT Medical Card
· Ability to work independently without direct supervision
· Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler)
