Top Pay. Real Work-Life Balance. Family-Owned. No Corporate BS.
You’re not just looking for another HVAC job.
You’re looking for a place where your license matters, your skill is respected, your family time is protected, and your paycheck actually reflects the value you bring.
At Service Stars, we’re a family-owned home service company serving Fairfield County and the Danbury area. We do premium residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work — and we are building a team of people who want to be proud of the truck they drive, the work they install, and the company name on their shirt.
We are looking for an active Connecticut S1, S2, D1, D2, G1, or G2 Licensed HVAC Technician who wants to be part of something better.
Not corporate. Not private equity. Not a revolving door. Not a company that burns people out and calls it “opportunity.”
We Believe in Three Wins:
- The employee wins first. You should love where you work. You should be paid well. You should have time with your family. You should be treated like a professional, not a quota-filler.
- The client wins next. When our team is taken care of, our clients get better service, cleaner work, better communication, and real solutions.
- The company wins last. If our people win and our clients win, the business will take care of itself.
That’s how we run.
- What We Offer -
- Top Pay for Top Techs: $30 - $50/hour base rate + strong performance commissions. We pay strong because we expect strong. If you’re licensed, skilled, clean, professional, and know how to take care of customers, your earning potential is uncapped here.
- Premium Health Insurance Support: Full coverage peace of mind. We provide excellent health, dental, and vision insurance support for your whole family—not just the employee.
- 401(k) with a 4% Match: We want people who are building a future, not just punching a clock.
- Best Work-Life Balance in the Industry: Our schedule respects your life. You take part in a fair on-call rotation, but there are no revolving door shifts. Your time off is protected. Great techs should not have to sacrifice their family, health, or sanity to make a great living.
- Real Career Path: You don't get capped out here. Move into a lead tech, training, or management role as we keep expanding the right way.
- Family-Owned Culture: No boardroom nonsense. No private equity playbook. No treating people like equipment or an employee number. You’ll know the owners, you’ll know the team, and you’ll be part of the direction we’re going.
- Premium Quality Work: We are not the cheapest company in town, and we do not want to be. We sell value. We do the job right. We protect the client’s home and stand behind our work. We expect clean installs, strong communication, and craftsmanship that makes people say, “That’s why we called Service Stars.”
- Our Core Values -
We hire, train, promote, and make decisions around our core values:
- Show Up: Be reliable. Be present. Be ready. Your team and your clients should be able to count on you.
- Take Action: Don’t wait for someone else to fix the problem. Step up, solve it, own it.
- All In: No half-effort. No “not my job.” We win together, and we bring real effort every day.
- Raise the Standard: Good enough is not good enough. We want pros who care about doing clean, safe, high-quality work.
- Stronger Together: No lone wolves. No drama. No tearing the team down. We help each other get better.

- Takes pride in clean, professional craftsmanship and respects clients' homes
- Communicates clearly and honestly with homeowners
- Wants a long-term home with a shop that invests in your future, not just another job
