```Duties```
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure to minimize the risk of infection.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and communicate any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
- Collect and document data related to the surgical procedure, including patient information, surgical supplies used, and any complications or issues that arise.
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, including positioning patients, preparing incision sites, and applying dressings.
- Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the operating room.
```Requirements```
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Previous experience working in an ICU or ambulatory surgery center preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Epic, for data collection purposes.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in handling surgical instruments, sutures, and other equipment.
