Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar/Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a key leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-tier service standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your leadership will drive team motivation, uphold food safety and quality standards, and manage all aspects of bar and front-of-house functions to create memorable experiences for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front of house staff, including bartenders, servers, and hosts, ensuring smooth shift operations and excellent customer service.
- Oversee bar prep and beverage service to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage Toast POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels for beverages and supplies; conduct regular stock checks; coordinate with suppliers; and minimize waste.
- Train staff on safety protocols, customer service excellence, menu knowledge, and operational procedures to promote continuous improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave satisfied with their experience.
- Handle all FOH staff scheduling and shift management to optimize restaurant performance and labor costs.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within elevated or fine dining establishments.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in the hospitality industry.
- Expertise in mixology and seasonal menu creation.
- Proficiency with Toast POS; adept at cash handling and sales reporting.
- Excellent team management abilities including interviewing, training & development, and staff motivation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures.
- Effective communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
