FARM HELP
Job Description
We operate an approximately 160-acre ranch/horse farm near Lebanon, Missouri. We are looking for help maintaining the property and caring for our horses.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
· Caring for horses
· Maintaining and repairing fences
· Maintaining riding trails
· Using chainsaw & log splitter for any downed trees
· Mowing and weed eating in the warmer months
· Brush hogging
· Maintaining water sources and setting out hay in the colder months
· Cleaning water troughs, sheds, and lots.
· Grooming the arena and round pen as needed
· Painting and other maintenance from time to time as needed
· Other tasks as requested
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Positive attitude
· Strong work ethic
· Self-starter
· Farm knowledge
· Experience/skills to use a chainsaw safely
· Experience/skills to use a tractor safely
· Reliable transportation
