J&L Pest Control Inc. is a family owned and operated company looking for an honest and motivated individual capable of delivering quality services to our customers. No experience is necessary but a NYSDEC Technician or Applicator will take preference. Hands on training will be done in the field and in the office. Equipment and a company vehicle will be provided. This position provides you with opportunities to interact with customers on a routine basis, allowing you to build exceptional customer relation skills and deliver top quality services that exceeds our customers satisfaction.
Expectations:
40 hours a week with overtime opportunities.
Availability to take on calls during off hours and weekends.
Tolerance to various working environments. These include, but are not limited to: residential and industrial spaces, heights, outdoor work throughout the seasons, small spaces (crawling around, squeezing between equipment), dusty environments/handling and using dust based products (respirators will be used), etc.
Decent physical strength to operate and carry/transport small equipment, as well as being comfortable using a ladder of at least 16 feet.
Proper storage and maintenance of equipment and chemicals.
Quick learning skills to understand the use of equipment and procedure while on the job
Good social and communication skills for proper communication with customers (ex. answering questions regarding the service being provided, etc.)
Have great work ethic and be on time for customer appointments.
Candidates Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a clean and valid drivers license
Must have a valid SS to work in US
Proper English reading and writing skills (forms will need to be filled out for each job).
