CNC Machinist
Job Details:
Location: Burlington, NC
- Pay: $24-28+ depending upon experience
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 40 hours a week
- Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
- Length: Temp to perm
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Load raw materials, install correct fixtures, secure tooling, and set tool offsets for production runs.
- Operation: Monitor CNC mills and lathes to execute precision cutting, shaping, and finishing sequences.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.
- Program Editing: Perform basic G-code and M-code troubleshooting and edits at the machine controller to optimize feeds and speeds.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges to ensure conformance to tolerances.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to OSHA standards.
