As Cafe Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Venue Manager and Assistant Venue and Catering Manager and be responsible for effectively overseeing the catering aspects of the onsite Honey Cafe. As Cafe Specialist you will work to deliver a fast-paced, hands-on experience in our bustling onsite cafe, in line with Billy Beez’s Mission Statement. This role focuses on preparing high volumes of food from frozen items, serving customers with speed and care, and keeping the cafe clean and welcoming. You’ll handle orders, cook and serve food and beverages, process transactions, and maintain a spotless environment to ensure an excellent customer experience in a fun, family-friendly setting.

Key responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Quickly and efficiently prepare high volumes of food (pizza etc.), following recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Serving & Customer Service: Take orders, serve food and beverages with a friendly and professional demeanor, and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep the cafe spotless by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and service areas throughout the shift, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments with attention to detail.
- Food Safety & Stock: Follow food safety protocols, properly store frozen and perishable items, and assist with basic stock replenishment as directed.
- Guest Experience: Deliver a consistent, brand-standard experience through excellent service, maintaining a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.
- Flexibility: Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the cafe’s operational needs.
- Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, move quickly in a fast-paced setting, and lift or carry objects (up to 25 lbs.) as needed.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in a fast-food or high-volume cafe environment, with strong skills in cooking from frozen items.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Comfortable operating a cash register and handling transactions.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction from the Venue Manager.
. At least 2 years experience in food service industry with focus on cooking, preferable in the fast food industry.
. ServSafe Management Certification is a plus.
· Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus.
· Must be 18 years of age or older
Availability Requirements:
· Must have open availability
· Must be able to work during weekends and holidays
· Shifts are assigned as per business need
