We are looking for a hands-on Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager who can own our day-to-day financial operations and bring clarity, accuracy, and structure to our systems.
What This Role Owns
This is not a basic bookkeeping role. You will manage financial operations across QuickBooks Online and Aspire, ensuring both systems are accurate, aligned, and actionable.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage all bookkeeping functions in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor transactions weekly
- Process payroll and manage payroll tax timing
- Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Actively manage collections and reduce A/R days
- Maintain clean and accurate financial records
Aspire + Job Costing Responsibilities
- Understand and support job costing within Aspire
- Ensure proper flow of data between Aspire and QBO
- Assist with monthly journal entries to align job costs and financials
- Review job profitability and flag discrepancies
Cash Flow & Reporting
- Provide weekly cash position updates
- Forecast upcoming payroll, taxes, and major expenses
- Assist leadership with budget vs. actual reporting
- Help track key metrics (revenue, margins, labor ratios)
Process & Systems
- Help implement and manage tools like Dext / Expensify / receipt tracking
- Create systems for clean documentation and approvals
- Improve workflows for efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure financial processes are scalable as the company grows
What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Experience
- 3+ years in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with job costing (construction or landscape preferred)
- Ability to manage A/R, A/P, and reconciliations independently
Preferred
- Experience with Aspire Landscape Software
- , or field services
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax timing
- Experience improving financial systems and workflows

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
