We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will assist in managing guest relations and providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest services.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
