Present yourself in a clean neat and professional appearance and conduct while on duty in warehouse or private residences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks using hand dollys, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Support order picking processes utilizing RF scanners and physical label pick to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Assist driver or manager in shipping & receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality, damages, and item accuracy to keep detailed record of receipt or delivery.
- Help organize warehouse space efficiently by stacking product or pallets, arranging inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment in trucks, warehouse and property.
- Collaborate with driver and warehouse supervisors to coordinate tasks such as load, unload and delivery operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Utilize product management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
Experience
- Previous warehouse distribution or logistics experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience handling furniture and operating hand trucks, or pallet jacks is essential.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards is required.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus. Use of hand tools, drills, tape measures, basic assembly and direction following is crucial
- Experience with order picker systems, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems will help you excel in this role.
- Background in construction or materials handling enhances your ability to adapt quickly to diverse tasks.
- Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory; we value proactive team players eager to learn. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
