Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook specializing in Saute, Roast, Fry, and Pantry stations to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes with attention to food safety and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items across Saute, Roast, Fry, and Pantry stations according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely service during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including sautéing, roasting, frying, and pantry work
- Proven knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety standards
- Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
