Summary:
Under the supervision of the Radiology Service Line Director is responsible for coordinating the daily functions of the radiology department including all modalities of the Imaging Department and clerical functions. Evaluates accuracy and quality of images and provides technical assistance to staff. Demonstrates new techniques, equipment and procedures to staff. ENSURES EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE DEPARTMENTAL OPERATIONS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE SYSTEM MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF RADIOLOGY AND RADIOLOGY SERVICE LINE DIRECTOR
Other information:
Education: BACHELORS DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION IDENTIFIED BY THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION IN A HEALTH RELATED FIELD/GENERAL RADIOLOGY PREFERRED.
Experience: MUST HAVE 5 YEARS IMAGING EXPERIENCE IN A HOSPITAL SETTING AND 2 YEARS CLINICAL SERVICES SUPERVISION.
Required skills: MUST BE ARRT REGISTERED. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT REASONING, LEADERSHIP AND MANAGERIAL SKILLS. PACS EXPERIENCE.
