High school diploma or equivalent required.

5-10 years experience preferred. Must show consistent, reliable work history.

Effective communication, ability to read warehouse software, forklift certification, basic material prep skills, and longevity in prior roles preferred.
Responsibilities:
-
Reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
-
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated locations

Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, style, color, or product code

Fills requisitions, work orders, or material requests and distributes stock to production areas
-
Assembles customer orders from stock and places them on pallets
-
Marks materials with identifying information

Opens bales, crates, and other containers
-
Records quantities of materials or items received or distributed
-
Weighs or counts items to ensure they meet company standards
-
Uses a computer to enter and maintain records
-
Drives material handling equipment to transport stored items
-
Loads and unloads trailers with palletized and non-palletized products
-
Utilizes both manual and automated material handling equipment
