The Spa at Palmer House is seeking a meticulous and dependable Attendant to join our team at The Spa, a premier luxury spa that offers an exceptional, tranquil experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the spa, ensuring that each guest enjoys a pristine, relaxing environment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding the spa’s luxurious ambiance.

Tuesday 9:30-5:30 Wednesday 9:30-4 Thursday 9:30-4 Friday 9:30-5:30 Saturday 9:30-3
Compensation: $17.50 , $18.50 after 90 days

Key Responsibilities:
- Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all guest areas, including treatment rooms, bathrooms, relaxation areas, employee spaces and locker rooms.
- Ensure that spa areas are tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Replenish towels, robes, toiletries, and other spa amenities as needed.
- Guest Experience:
- Maintain a quiet, serene atmosphere conducive to relaxation.
- Promptly address and resolve any cleanliness-related concerns brought up by guests or staff.
- Ensure that all surfaces are spotless, from floors to countertops, without compromising the spa's aesthetic and tranquility.
- Health & Safety:
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including those related to cleaning products, equipment, and procedures.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stored and handled safely.
- Maintain awareness of and adhere to all sanitation protocols to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with leadership and spa team members regarding supplies, maintenance issues, or concerns.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is necessary.
- Work collaboratively to ensure smooth operation of the spa and provide consistent, high-quality service.
- Spa Ambiance & Luxury Standard:
- Ensure all areas meet the luxury standard expected of a high-end spa, including special attention to detail in design elements, furnishings, and fixtures.
- Conduct periodic checks throughout shifts to ensure the spa environment remains pristine, offering a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in a luxury hotel, resort, or spa/salon setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to varying cleaning needs and guest demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on creating a welcoming, peaceful environment for guests.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to [insert weight] lbs. throughout the duration of shifts.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and reach as needed for cleaning duties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to guest and operational needs.
