Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support the implementation of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy protocols to help children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive behavioral assessments, data collection, and the development of individualized treatment plans. You will work closely with clients, families, and clinical supervisors to promote meaningful progress and positive behavioral change in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting behavioral developmental assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring consistency and fidelity.
- Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Support patient care through behavioral interventions, behavior management strategies, and skill-building activities.
- Participate in intake processes, client communication, and ongoing patient assessment to ensure comprehensive understanding of each individual’s needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans and provide updates on client progress.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavioral health principles.
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities in clinical or educational settings.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management.
- Demonstrated ability to perform behavioral assessments such as functional behavior assessments (FBA) or behavioral developmental assessments.
- Strong client communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children with disabilities and their families.
- Experience supporting patient care through data collection, progress tracking, and implementing behavioral interventions under supervision.
