We are searching for a full-time senior accountant to join our Client Accounting & Advisory team and assist in servicing our government client in the North Shore Chicagoland area This role will be based 100% on site at the client location.

Essential job duties:
- Prepare general ledger entries
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Utility Billing
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with preparing financial statements
- Prepare government-required reports
- Advise clients on internal accounting matters
- Assist with Audit preparation
- Complete appropriate compliance reporting
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA or actively pursuing a license
- 3-10 years of general accounting experience required
- Government/Municipal accounting experience required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
- Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
- Highly motivated, self-starter
