Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Support meal assembly and presentation to ensure timely service and adherence to quality standards
- Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, blenders, and other kitchen tools
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and ingredients while following proper safety procedures
- Support food production processes by organizing ingredients, prepping vegetables, meats, and other components for cooking
- Assist with serving food to customers or staff as directed, ensuring a positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knife skills and slicing techniques are highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with food preparation equipment operation and cleaning protocols
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portioning accurately
- Experience in catering or culinary roles will be advantageous but not required

Pay: $750.00 - $800.00 per week
