About the Role:Alamo City Healthy Kids and Families is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our multidisciplinary team. Duties
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate dietary strategies into overall treatment protocols, including hyperbaric medicine and wound care.
- Provide patient education on nutrition, behavioral modifications, and lifestyle changes to promote health and prevent disease.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) management systems to document progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with other healthcare providers efficiently.
- Deliver nutritional counseling through in-person visits or telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for culturally diverse communities.
- Implement behavioral interventions to support patients in adopting sustainable dietary habits.
- Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology, clinical guidelines, and emerging trends in dietetics and hyperbaric medicine.
- Ensure compliance with basic life support (BLS) and CPR standards during all patient interactions.
- Assist in patient treatment planning for wound care management, including specialized nutritional strategies for healing.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, motivate change, and foster a supportive environment for health improvement.
Experience
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
- Develop individualized meal plans and dietary interventions tailored to each client's needs
- Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling and education sessions
- Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed
- Lead community outreach programs and wellness workshops focused on healthy eating habits
- Support families with culturally sensitive nutrition guidance and resources
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinic standards
Requirements:
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent population is a plus
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay: $61,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
