This role will initially focus on part time/as-needed coverage for weekends, overnights, and occasional travel coverage, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent recurring role as the business expands over the next year. Home Sweet Home is currently in the process of building a 2000sqft dog space adjacent to our new home/property.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and safely managing groups of 8–15 dogs
- Monitoring dog body language, play styles, and group dynamics
- Preventing and redirecting overstimulation or inappropriate play
- Feeding dogs according to individualized routines
- Administering medications when needed• Maintaining a clean and safe environment• Managing indoor/outdoor group flow and gate separations
- Sending photo/video updates to clients• Using Gingr software for schedules, bookings, and care notes
- Providing overnight care when needed
Requirements:
- Experience in doggy daycare/boarding.
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and canine body language
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions independently
- Comfortable working in an open-home daycare/boarding setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable availability
- Comfortable with technology and mobile apps
This is not a hobby-sitting position. We are seeking someone passionate about professional dog care who is interested in long term growth alongside an expanding business.
Home Sweet Home is fully licensed and insured, and employees will be added to business insurance coverage.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
