Accounts Payable Specialist – Busam Automotive
The Busam Automotive Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. Busam Automotive is a family of dealerships and automotive businesses that includes Busam Nissan, Busam Subaru, Busam Ford, and Busam Body Shop.
Location: Busam Body Shop, 4080 Acme Dr., Fairfield, OH 45014
Compensation: Competitive and flexible based on experience
Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the Busam Automotive Group. This position will process invoices, maintain vendor accounts, reconcile statements, and help ensure dealership expenses are paid accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for proper documentation, coding, and approvals
- Maintain accurate vendor accounts and records
- Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments in a timely manner
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve account issues
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation
- Assist with month-end accounting processes as needed
- Communicate with dealership departments regarding invoices, expenses, and payment questions
- Support the accounting team with additional duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
- Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
