Job Summary
The Accessory Wrapper is responsible for getting the right material and the right quantity each label is asking for (Skins, Fillers, End Panels, Floors, Molding, Toe kicks) also responsible for inspecting them for Quality, for wrapping them and to follow our Quality Standard, Preventive Maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for getting the right material each label is asking for.
Responsible for getting the right quantity each label is asking for.
Responsible for inspecting the Accessories for Quality.
Responsible for Wrapping the accessories.
Responsible for Putting the right label on the Accessories.
Responsible for preventive maintenance action items performed daily at company standards.
Responsible for leading by example in regard to attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas.
Additional duties as assigned by Packaging Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to perform data entry tasks.
Must be able to distinguish colors and finishes.
Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties as needed.
Must have a basic ability for reading and writing
Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in shipping, material handling role
Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
