Front Desk/Reception for Physical Therapy Clinic

About Us:
Jones Physical Therapy: We are an outpatient physical therapy clinic that has been established for more than 20 years. We currently have 4 clinics on the North Shore. We are looking to add to our team an outgoing person to occupy the most important role on our front desk. Your job will be to motivate our clients and hold them accountable to ensure their success. You must provide an exceptional customer experience for our patients. The right person is likely to have been working in a customer-facing environment and has a long track record of dealing with customers, answering questions on the phone and in person, and turning inquiries into happy customers.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing a busy front desk and waiting room experience, meeting and greeting our patients, answering the phone, converting inquires into patients and ensuring that all of our patients are looked after and made to feel welcomed. Your role is to ensure that each of our customers has an exceptional experience, attends all of their appointments and is happy to send friends and family for the same excellent level of care.
The Tasks:
- Booking patients in person and on the phone.
- Prepare and maintain medical records.
- Understand and explain insurance benefits to the patient
- Take payments and explain payment options
- Provide an exceptional waiting room environment for our patients that they’ll look forward to coming back to
- Communicate with patients before, during and after appointments to ensure satisfaction is being achieved
Skills/Competencies Needed:
- Be able to hold meaningful conversations with prospective patients on the phone
- Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to patients when they arrive in the clinic
- Demonstrate an ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
- Attention to detail
- Persistence: demonstrate tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done
- Quick learner
- Able to keep track of multiple processes and people

Compensation/Salary: Dependent upon experience. Hours: Full time 40 hours
