The ADON assists the Director of Nursing in the overall management of the Nursing department.
This position is on call every third week but does not involve taking the on-call phone.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LVN license in the State of Texas.
- Experience with Point Click Care is a plus.
- Experience with admitting new patients.
- Responsible for the orientation and continuing education of the nursing staff.
- Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities
