As part of our continued expansion, including acquisitions and mergers, we are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Director of Human Resources to help scale the organization, strengthen leadership infrastructure, support cultural integration, and align people strategies with business growth.
Position Summary
The Director of Human Resources will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership and will lead all aspects of Human Resources across a complex, multi-functional organization. This role requires a hands-on HR leader capable of operating strategically while also driving operational execution across manufacturing, warehouse operations, supply chain, distribution, commercial sales, product development, and corporate functions.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting rapid organizational growth, multi-site operations, acquisitions/integrations, and large distributed workforces.
This position will play a critical role in:
- Scaling organizational structure and leadership capability
- Supporting acquisitions and mergers integration

- Strengthening recruiting and retention strategies

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with aggressive growth objectives
- Build scalable HR infrastructure, policies, systems, and processes
- Support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives
- Develop leadership succession and talent development strategies
- Drive performance management and accountability systems
- Help preserve and strengthen company culture during rapid growth and organizational change
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead HR integration efforts related to acquisitions and mergers
- Conduct HR due diligence during acquisitions
- Assess organizational structures, compensation practices, policies, and cultural alignment
- Develop integration plans for acquired businesses
- Support change management and communication strategies during transitions
- Assist with workforce restructuring and organizational alignment initiatives when necessary
Multi-Site Operational HR Leadership
Support HR operations across:
- Warehouses and distribution centers
- Production/manufacturing operations
- Supply chain and logistics
- Shipping and fulfillment
- Territory-based sales organizations
- Marketing and corporate functions
- Product development and technical teams
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
- Lead recruiting strategy for operational, technical, commercial, and leadership roles
- Develop scalable onboarding and training systems
- Improve retention and employee engagement
- Build leadership development and management training programs
- Strengthen talent pipelines across the organization
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Guide managers on coaching, corrective action, investigations, and performance improvement
- Support high-accountability management culture
- Resolve complex employee relations matters
- Ensure consistency in policy application and leadership practices
Compensation, Benefits & HR Analytics
- Oversee compensation strategy and market benchmarking
- Support incentive and commission structures for sales organizations
- Develop HR KPI dashboards and workforce analytics
- Utilize data to improve retention, productivity, recruiting, and organizational effectiveness
- Partner with Finance and executive leadership on workforce cost planning
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations across multiple states
- Oversee workers’ compensation, leave management, accommodations, and policy administration
- Support OSHA and operational safety coordination where applicable
- Reduce legal and operational risk through strong HR governance and documentation practices
HR Systems & Technology
- Lead HRIS optimization and HR technology initiatives
- Improve reporting automation and data visibility
- Support digital transformation initiatives within HR operations
- Drive process standardization and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required in:
- Human Resources
- Business Administration
- Organizational Development
- Related field
Master’s degree and/or certifications preferred:
- SHRM-SCP
- SPHR
- MBA preferred
Experience
- 10+ years progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience in rapidly growing organizations
- Strong background in multi-site operational environments
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, or industrial operations
- Experience supporting large sales organizations and commissioned sales teams
- Mergers & acquisitions integration experience strongly preferred
- Experience scaling organizations through periods of significant growth and change

Compensation
Salary Range: [$150,000 – $230,000+]
Additional compensation may include:
- monthly and quarterly bonuses for all employees

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, operational complexity, multi-site leadership scope, and M&A experience.
