Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom presence, supporting various age groups and classrooms as needed. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education, combined with your ability to manage diverse responsibilities, will help create a positive learning environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development for every child.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom management and behavior guidance strategies to foster a respectful and safe environment
- Collaborate with lead teachers to develop age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues and parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children through vigilant supervision and adherence to childcare protocols
- Contribute to classroom organization, lesson planning, and routine activities to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, Montessori methods, and standardized testing is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support various age groups as needed
- Experience with classroom management strategies and lesson planning for early childhood education
- Certification in CPR & First Aid is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are a plus
