Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional front desk presence.
- Conduct engaging product demos and makeup applications to showcase the latest beauty trends and products.
- Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs, recommend suitable products, and upsell effectively to enhance their experience.
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Millennium or other salon software, ensuring smooth cashiering and cash handling.
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met.
- Utilize social media management skills to promote products, events, and special offers, increasing brand visibility both online and in-store.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients or vendors, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
- Support overall store operations by managing retail math calculations, organizing merchandise displays, and assisting with front desk duties as needed.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards by addressing inquiries promptly, managing complaints professionally, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Experience
- Previous experience in beauty & cosmetics sales or retail sales is highly preferred; enthusiasm for the industry is essential.
- Familiarity with salon software such as Millennium or similar POS systems enhances efficiency in transaction processing.
- Bilingual abilities (English plus another language) are a strong asset for connecting with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles, makeup application techniques, and skincare products will enable you to provide expert advice.
- Strong communication skills combined with social media management capabilities will help you engage customers both in-store and online.
- Proven organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining an orderly sales floor are vital for success.
