Job Summary
At My Gym, our programs focus on movement, coordination, and social skills in a fun and safe environment with parent participation for our younger kids. Our programs for older children who participate independently promote fitness, confidence, and teamwork.
Your role goes beyond teaching classes. It will allow you to build meaningful relationships and invest in the youth of our community. As you develop your skills as a lead teacher, you’ll also gain valuable experience in our back-end systems, administration, sales, and training. Responsibilities
● Lead and assist age-appropriate gymnastics classes, ensuring a positive experience for all participants while fostering a fun and welcoming atmosphere that encourages engagement and participation.
● Prioritize the safety of children while they learn and enjoy their activities
● Manage attendance, assist with enrollment conversations, and other light administrative duties.
Qualifications
● Strong team player with a dedicated work ethic
● Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests
● Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
● Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
● Experience working with young children in an organized play environment a plus.
