Direct and coordinate the Freshman class officers at Yorkville High School.
-
Create and maintain detailed records of activities, fundraising, planning, budget expenditures, and other
activities -
Schedule and host all necessary meetings for participants
-
Establish the student leadership for the Freshman class
-
Work with Student Council sponsors and sponsor spirit weeks and homecoming activities
-
Counsel and supervise the participants in all activities, duties and responsibilities
-
Work in a positive and productive manner with a wide variety of Yorkville High School students and staff
-
Establish a friendly and cooperative partnership between home and school
-
Develop a positive public relationship between the school district and the community
-
Supervise the collection and expenditures of class funds
-
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
SKILLS: Organizational skills and initiative for working with minimal direct supervision. Must show evidence of strong leadership and organizational skills.
KNOWLEDGE: Previous successful experience in sponsorship/mentoring preferred. Substantial knowledge in the area of student support, as well as familiarity with student discipline and safety protocols.
ABILITY: Establish and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with all stakeholders to be flexible and change as needed.
Salary Range: Head Level 1: $1,209- $2,893 based on experience
