Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting to keep facilities in top condition
- Assist with installation and assembly of equipment, fixtures, or furniture as needed
- Conduct inspections using tools such as an ohmmeter (for electrical testing) to ensure systems are operating correctly
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and promptly addressing hazards
- Support project setups by moving materials, cleaning work areas, and preparing sites for upcoming tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned jobs efficiently and effectively
- Keep detailed records of work performed and report any issues or repairs required for future follow-up
Requirements
- Proven experience in handyman services, construction, or general labor roles is preferred
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting issues
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and work well within a team
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location and responsibilities
