Dermatologic Surgery* : Bloomfield, Cromwell, Farmington, and Southington
Current schedule is Full-time Monday-Friday.
We are seeking a Histology Technician with experience in processing Mohs histology slides.
Duties include, but are not limited to: lab preparation, processing histology tissue for Mohs procedures, prepping rooms for surgery, and sterilizing instruments.
Ideal candidates should be able to multi-task and work within a team environment.
Key Competencies: includes some/all of the following based on physician needs
· Setting up lab and processing histology tissue
- Performs patient callbacks under the supervision of the physician
- Prepares, stocks, and cleans the exam rooms
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization of equipment
- Performs other duties as requested
- Must be willing to work in all Mohs locations
Education:
· High School Diploma/GED required
- H.T. certified preferred but not required
