About the Position
Tribeca Kitchen & Hospitality is seeking an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead culinary operations for two distinctive and growing hospitality concepts:
- Inflight Provisions, an established premium catering company serving private aviation clients throughout the state of Virginia and parts of North Carolina
- Tribeca Kitchen, a new neighborhood market offering made-to-order sandwiches featuring in-house roasted deli meat, salads and soups, along with chef-prepared meals for takeaway
This is an opportunity to take ownership of culinary operations while helping shape a newly built, large and professionally equipped kitchen. The Kitchen Manager will have significant autonomy, direct access to ownership and a meaningful role in developing the team, systems and standards that support both businesses.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen production and operations for both businesses
- Manage, schedule, train and develop kitchen employees
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, portioning and order accuracy
- Operate and program Rational cooking equipment, including combi ovens and iVario systems
- Coordinate aviation catering, retail service and prepared-meal production
- Manage food ordering, receiving, inventory, waste and product rotation
- Maintain HACCP records, temperature logs, cooling procedures and sanitation standards
- Ensure compliance with health department and food-safety requirements
- Monitor food costs, labor efficiency and kitchen organization
- Support menu development, recipe standardization and production planning
- Maintain a clean, organized and inspection-ready kitchen
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of professional kitchen experience
- At least 3–5 years of experience managing kitchen employees
- Experience in high-end dining, luxury hospitality, upscale catering, private aviation catering or premium hotel operations
- Hands-on experience operating and programming Rational cooking equipment
- Strong knowledge of HACCP procedures, safe cooling practices and food-safety documentation
- Experience with food purchasing, inventory management and cost control
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Current ServSafe Manager certification required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive orders
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require
- Ability to provide professional references upon request
- Ability to pass a background check
