Chesapeake Carpet and Flooring is a multi-generational, family-owned flooring company serving Harford County and the surrounding area. We specialize in high-quality carpet, hardwood, LVP/laminate, tile, refinishing, and full turn-key residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented, ambitious, and self-motivated Sales Assistant to support our sales team and grow with the company.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the sales representative with all aspects of the sales process
- Attend in-home appointments
- Build estimates and invoices
- Take detailed notes during consultations
- Manage and follow up on leads
- Maintain schedules and calendars
- Enter installation and material details accurately
- Fill in at the showroom as needed
- Learn the full sales process with the goal of advancing into a Sales Representative role
Growth Path
This is an entry point into sales. Strong performers will be trained and developed to become a full Sales Representative. If you show promise but decide sales is not the right long-term fit, there is also a clear opportunity to grow into a Lead Management role.

Schedule & Compensation
Starting pay: $16/hour
Flexible schedule that includes field appointments and occasional showroom coverage
Opportunity for advancement based on performance
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
