We are a fast-paced, high-volume podiatry practice looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant in our podiatry office, you will be the right hand to our physician, ensuring clinical operations run smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
- Clinical Support: Assisting the Dr. with in-office procedures
- Diagnostics: Performing digital X-rays and utilizing advanced technology for orthotic scanning.
- Patient Care: Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and updating medical histories in our EMR system (modmed/EMA experience a plus!).
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME): Fitting patients for surgical shoes, CAM boots, and dispensing custom orthotics.
- Patient Education: Explaining post-op instructions and treatment plans with clarity and empathy.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (Podiatry or Orthopedic experience highly preferred but not needed).
- Bilingual: Spanish and English
- Skills: Proficiency in Medical/ Clinical and answering phones
- Attributes: A "team-player" attitude, excellent multitasking abilities, energetic and a warm and kind bedside manner.
- Certification: CMA or RMA preferred, but equivalent clinical experience will be considered.
