We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Full Time Liquor Store Clerk to join our team in Anderson, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a liquor store environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills to assist customers effectively.
- Handle sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain knowledge of store products, including various types of liquor, beer, and wine.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and keep the store clean and orderly.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age of customers.
- Answer customer questions and provide recommendations as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shipments.
- Previous experience as a Liquor Store Clerk or in a retail environment preferred.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverage products and related regulations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends.
