Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in the management of the company’s Accounts Receivables and Payables from day to day. It also includes assisting with monthly review and analysis of general ledger accounts leading to correction through journal entries as well as the timely preparation of financial and other related reports needed from time to time.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our accounts receivable functions while helping maintain the strong customer relationships that have been the foundation of our success.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and confident handling collections with tact and diplomacy. We believe preserving customer relationships is just as important as collecting outstanding balances.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash applications, collections, account reconciliations, and aging reports.
- Proactively manage outstanding receivables and communicate with customers regarding payment status in a professional and relationship-focused manner.
- Work closely with our Sales Team to resolve payment issues while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation.
- Assist with credit references and customer account maintenance.
- Provide occasional Customer Service Representative (CSR) support during peak periods or when additional assistance is needed.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience required.
- Strong collection and customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.
- Experience in foodservice distribution or wholesale distribution is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Employees participate in a rotating Saturday schedule, working approximately 4 hours every 4–5 weeks.

Applicants must be bi-lingual with accounting experience. They must be comfortable with collections and understand how to be stern without jeopardizing business relationships. They must have experience with excel and the ability to generate reports and shift through data to provide easy to understand data and summaries.
