Make a direct impact on K-12 students by supporting communication development across elementary, middle, and high school environments. This contract role offers the chance to work with diverse student populations in a collaborative educational setting. You’ll manage a dynamic caseload split across three buildings and provide tailored speech and language services designed to help students thrive.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and SLP Certificate required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with K-12 student populations in a school setting
- Comfortable providing both individual and group speech therapy services
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseload across multiple sites
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-12 students across elementary, middle, and high schools (three buildings)
- Manage a caseload that includes 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions each week (16 individual, 37 group)
- Maintain therapy schedules and documentation according to school and professional guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and allied professionals to support student progress and IEP goals
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address a range of communication disorders and challenges
- Track student progress, adjust interventions, and communicate outcomes with parents and teachers
