Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of front desk transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints via multi-line phone systems and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor security cameras, perform safety checks, and follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety throughout the night.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including financial summaries, incident logs, and maintenance issues requiring attention.
- Assist with reservation management, modifications, and cancellations while maintaining clear communication with guests and staff.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly and uphold high standards of property presentation.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable property management software.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services protocols, and property management systems (PMS).
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction over phone or in person, including multi-line phone system operation.
- Previous resort or hotel experience is preferred to handle the unique demands of upscale hospitality environments.
