American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Perioperative Circulator role in an Adult Surgery OR unit, requiring at least 1 year of acute OR experience and a current OK or compact RN license.

Adult Surgery OR unit within a hospital setting

Day shift schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours per week

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute OR environment

Level 1 trauma experience required (minimum 6 months)

ADN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred

Strong knowledge of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices

CNOR certification preferred

Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures

Provides direct and indirect professional nursing care within the perioperative environment, including ongoing documentation using the nursing process

Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Previous travelers or workers at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract (extensions are limited to one time, for a total of 26 weeks)
