Behavior Consultant/Specialist :
Behavior Consultants/Specialists are responsible for providing behavior supports to individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages who are receiving services in family homes and supported living settings in the Indianapolis area and surrounding counties. Job duties will include conducting on-going observations, assessing the function of behaviors, creating behavior support plans, training caregivers on implementing plans, monitoring treatment, and being an active participant of the individuals support team. Consultants must also write and maintain all client records including behavior programs and assessments, progress reports, medication reduction plans, billing forms, and any other required documents. Services are provided in school, work and/or home settings; some travel is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Behavior Consultant/Specialist
- Master's degree in clinical, counseling, applied behavior analysis,or psychology or another applied health service area of psychology; special education; or social work.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and written abilities
- Ability to work independently and have strong organizational skills
This position is based in Marion County (Indianapolis), Indiana but will have the potential to serve the surrounding counties.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.44 - $31.25 per hour
