American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of RN experience, AHA-issued BLS and PALS certifications, and Level 1 ICU experience.

Pediatric ICU (PICU) unit in a hospital setting

Night shift, 12-hour days, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract

Level 1 ICU experience required

CVICU and NICU experience preferred

Active RN license (OK state license or eNLC compact license) currently in hand

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — no other issuing bodies accepted

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN or higher preferred

Level 1 ICU experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates

Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, initiating and regulating IV infusions and blood products, and collaborating with physicians on patient care

Interacts with patients and families to communicate care plans and hospital procedures throughout the stay and at discharge

Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may return only after a 6-month separation period following the completion of 26 weeks (one contract plus one extension)

Compliance requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must be completed promptly — the facility is strict about compliance deadlines and will not negotiate start dates
