We’re hiring a Training Director (Licensed Psychologist) at Bridges of the Mind Psychological Services in Sacramento, CA. This role focuses on supporting and refining a structured training program centered on neurodevelopmental and neuroaffirmative psychological assessment (including autism evaluation and related developmental testing).
This is a unique opportunity for a licensed psychologist who enjoys developing emerging clinicians, values thoughtful supervision, and thrives in a structured, collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
This role is especially well-suited for a newly licensed or early-career psychologist with strong assessment experience who is ready to step into a training leadership role within an established program. The Training Director will be supported by a training committee, structured materials, and executive leadership.
The Training Director will focus on strengthening systems, refining training quality, and supporting trainee development while maintaining a meaningful, limited direct clinical caseload.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about neurodevelopmental and neuroaffirming psychological assessment, including autism evaluation and related developmental testing
- Enjoys supervising and mentoring early-career clinicians
- Adapts supervision to meet trainees where they are while supporting independence
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within structured systems and timelines
- Thinks independently, identifies challenges as they arise, and collaborates with leadership to problem-solve effectively
- Values collaboration, communication, and shared learning
- Balances accountability with a supportive, developmentally informed approach
- Finds meaning in both direct clinical work and developing others
- This role is centered on training clinicians in neurodevelopmental and autism-focused psychological assessment competencies across developmental levels.
