We are a warm and close-knit family with four young children (ages 8, 6, 3, and 3 months). Our family values connection, intentional time spent together, and a sense of calm amidst our busy lives.
Our household is full of energy and love. With so many moving pieces, including doctor's appointments, school activities, extracurriculars, and maintaining our property, each day brings something new. We are looking for someone who can help organize and support the logistics of our daily life. The role will involve both household management and support with childcare, requiring flexibility to handle the demands of each. You will support our children with school pick-ups as needed, light supervision, and playtime, as well as manage household operations, including vendor coordination, scheduling, and keeping everything running smoothly at home.
We have some regular household staff, including a chef who prepares meals twice a week and a cleaning service that helps with laundry and cleaning. But we need someone who can tie everything together – someone who can manage the household, supervise vendors, and coordinate schedules, allowing us to focus on spending quality time together as a family.
Our values are important to us, and we believe in maintaining a respectful and professional relationship with the person who helps us manage our home. Our goal is to work with someone who is reliable, communicative, and who can bring a sense of calm and organization to our home, enabling us to enjoy the moments that matter most.
You are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where no day is the same. The role will require you to balance both support with childcare and household management tasks, ensuring smooth transitions between taking care of the kids and managing the home. You're proactive, always thinking ahead and anticipating needs before they arise, whether it's managing the household schedule, ensuring the pantry is stocked, or coordinating with vendors. You have a natural ability to problem-solve and handle multiple tasks with ease, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
You are a strong communicator, keeping us on the same page without being overbearing. You're independent, but you understand the importance of collaboration, especially when it comes to managing family schedules and overseeing household staff. We're looking for someone who can work autonomously, but who also values feedback and uses it as a tool for growth.
Our ideal candidate has a calm and positive energy that blends seamlessly with our family. You understand the importance of creating a peaceful, efficient home environment, and you're willing to step in as needed, whether that's helping with the kids, managing the family calendar, or keeping the house organized. You're organized, detail-oriented, and flexible, with the ability to balance the day-to-day tasks of the home with the bigger picture of keeping the family's long-term goals and schedules in mind. We're looking for someone who can become a trusted partner in our home; someone who wants to grow with us over time and who will take pride in maintaining a space that allows our family to flourish.
