Warehouse Laborer (No Experience Required)
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Laborer to join our team. This position involves handling rugs, preparing them for presentation, shipment, and assisting with daily warehouse operations. Prior experience in the rug industry, similar industry, moving industry, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required. We provide on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
- Move, lift, carry, and organize rugs individually and as part of a team
- Pull inventory accurately based on supervisor’s instructions
- Prepare rugs for customer presentations, photography, and package them for shipping and delivery
- Load and unload inventory as needed
- Assist with inventory organization and maintaining stock locations
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time
- Assist with general warehouse and operational duties as needed
Requirements
- Reliable and consistent, on-time attendance
- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Experience
- Previous warehouse labor, moving or inventory experience is a plus but not required
- Good physical composure
