Job details:
We are currently hiring for two part time positions. One is 20 hours a week and the other one is 30 hours a week.
Our 20 hour a week job is Monday-Friday no weekends, our job begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 9:30 pm.
Our 30 hour a week job is Monday-Friday no weekends, our job begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 11:30 pm.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Handle custodial tasks like trash removal, dusting surfaces, disinfecting high-touch areas, and restocking supplies to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs or reporting issues related to facilities maintenance or equipment.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and any incidents or irregularities observed during your shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning responsibilities are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to enhance facility appearance.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies, including vacuums, buffers, mops, and disinfectants.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including handling specialized cleaning projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
